Message to COPAMA from Jeff Gruber

I just wanted to let everyone know that the COPAMA & PPA Golf Outing was a huge success. The weather held out and we got in the full round of golf. We did get a little wet during the raffle, but it appeared that everyone was having so much fun that a little rain didn't matter.

I would like to express my thanks to those who helped in getting this off the ground. Dave Wheat, Greg Holder, and Sam Dodge for the preplanning and running around to courses, Jim Huntoon and Louie Fura for getting sponsors and helping set up, and Donna for handling all the money. Scott Seibert for getting some volunteers and Ann Fura for helping coordinate the beverage carts, Ralph Graves for doing whatever needed to be done, and Gene Sprang for suffering through the registration.

I would like to thank those who volunteered their day to drive the carts. John Bullen, John Iverson, Tiffany Henry, Joni Henry, Christie Ryman, Sarah Simonton, Ann Fura, Brenda Clemens, Erica Harper, Morgan Cloud, Stephanie Stoltz, & Lisa Thompson.

Let's not forget the Sponsors that helped, APRO, API, Air Net Systems, Aviall, Bizjet, Simuflite, CRS, Dallas Airmotive, Dassault, Duncan, Elliott Aviation, Flight Safety, Garrett, Honeywell, L-3 Communications, Lane Aviation, Midcoast, Million Air, Multi Service, Nationwide, NetJets, Raytheon, Tdata, Tritex, Turbine Engine Specialists, and WECO Aerospace.

The preliminary reports are that our scholarship fund has grown substantially with the golf outing. I may have a few more gray hairs now that it's over, but it was a great time and we received more than one good comment on the outing. Thanks everyone for the hard work.
